Liverpool Team News, Updates and Facts
Liverpool Team News
Jurgen Klopp will be pleased with the fact that both Fabinho and Joel Matip are closing in on returns, but neither of them should be expected to play from the start here. Dejan Lovren is another close to a return, while Naby Keita and James Milner appear to be set to miss out along with want away Nathaniel Clyne.
Liverpool Key Man
Liverpool’s lineup is pretty easy, mostly, to pick here for this match. It’d be dumb to stray too far from the usual, as that is one thing that could hurt them. Roberto Firmino is a big, big player for them, and though he hasn’t scored at home in a long time and doesn’t score a ton, he’s still the man that puts it all together. At the back, a lot of people have overlooked Joe Gomez of late. Liverpool haven’t give up a goal for a while, and though he does have van Dijk alongside, he, too, has to get a ton of credit for it.
Liverpool Team Form
Liverpool have won each of their last five matches:
0-1 win at Tottenham
1-0 home win vs Everton (FA Cup)
2-0 home win vs Sheffield United
1-0 home win vs Wolves
0-4 win at Leicester
Liverpool Predicted Starting Line up
Expected Line up: 4-3-3
Liverpool likely XI
- Goalkeeper:Alisson
- Defenders:Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson
- Midfielders:Henderson, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain
- Forwards:Salah, Firmino, Mane
Manchester United Team News, Updates and Facts
Man United Team News
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a number of men sidelined, with Paul Pogba spearheading the list. Scott McTominay, Axel Tuanzebe, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly, and Tim Fosu-Mensah are also set to miss out. Marcus Rashford, who limped off on Wednesday, is said to be a doubt to feature in this gargantuan clash.
Man United Key Man
With Rashford’s status up in the air for this one, a lot of eyes should turn their gaze toward Anthony Martial. The French striker debuted for United with a goal against the Reds, and if Rash isn’t in the team, he’ll be their top man with eight so far, putting a big load on his shoulders. Out wide, Dan James is another to keep an eye on. With his pace, he could provide a moment or two of uncomfortable-ness for the Reds’ full backs. He has six assists, a team high, and three goals in a fine debut season for them thus far.
Man United Team Form
Manchester United have two wins, two losses, and a draw in their last five matches:
1-0 home win vs Wolves (FA Cup)

0-0 draw at Wolves (FA Cup)
2-0 loss at Arsenal
