The Dutch Grand Prix may not have the stature of some other events on the Formula 1 calendar, but Zandvoort undoubtedly has the look and feel of an antiquated track.

In 2022, Max Verstappen will return as both the current international champion and the champion-elect after successfully winning on home turf the previous year.

F1 schedule begins in Spa (4.3 miles), then travels to Zandvoort, one of the shortest tracks (2.6-miles). The circuit will have DRS zones, a long straight that passes the start/finish line, and any other during the second half of the lap. Turn 1 and Turn 11 will be common places for passing. The Dutch Grand Prix, however, is controlled by the turns of its 14 circuits. Zandvoort is best described as having a rollercoaster-like vibe because it is swift and fluid.

Weather forecast for the F1 Dutch GP

According to current weather predictions, Zandvoort will experience high temperatures and cloud cover with little chance of rain. The weather will start the race at 25 degrees Celsius, which is 4 degrees hotter than the last time the Belgian GP took place.

How many laps is the F1 Dutch GP?

The race is scheduled to finish seventy two laps at Zandvoort, masking a complete race distance of 306.587km.
