This evening, the UFC will be holding its first event in London since 2023, as Leon Edwards takes on a stacked card.
The former welterweight titleholder lost his championship to Belal Muhammad last year. Edwards is determined to regain his title.
The last time the mixed martial arts organization held an event in the UK was in Manchester, where Edwards lost his title to Muhammed.
Originally, Edwards was supposed to fight Jack Della Maddalena, an Australian who has won 14 straight fights by stoppage.
However, after Della Maddalena was unable to fight due to injury, the bout was later changed to a welterweight title fight between Muhammed and Edwards.
The event will be held at London’s O2 Arena.
The event’s preliminary card will begin at around 5 pm. The main card will then begin at around 8 pm.
Cage-walks for the main event are not scheduled to take place until around 10 or 11 pm.
