Despite the fact that Burnley are only three points ahead of their opponents going into this game, there is a sense of optimism surrounding the Clarets, who have only lost one of their last eight league games, and that defeat came on the road against Manchester City.
Sean Dyche’s side were tenacious and excellent in holding Wolves to a 0-0 draw in midweek, but draws will not be enough to keep them out of the relegation zone.

Clark is suspended after receiving a straight red card in the Norwich match, but Jamaal Lascelles returns from his own suspension in time to fill the void in defense.
Matt Ritchie is also returning from suspension, although he may struggle to replace Jamal Lewis at left-back, and Paul Dummett remains the home side’s sole injury concern.
After being substituted for an extra body in defense against Norwich, Ryan Fraser should be fit to play again, with Miguel Almiron battling for a place in the starting XI.
For Burnley, James Tarkowski and Ashley Westwood return from suspension to reclaim their places in the starting lineup, with Nathan Collins and Jack Cork expected to make way.
