Time: 2 am (GMT), 6pm (PT), 9pm (ET)
Venue: Hollywood, Florida, USA

Luis “King Kong” Ortiz will meet “Prince” Charles Martin in a bout of world title challenger hopes on Saturday night.
The fight is an IBF title eliminator and will take place on New Year’s Day 2022 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, as part of an all-heavyweight Premier Boxing Champions on Fox Pay-Per-View program.
Ortiz (32-2, 27 KO) hasn’t fought in over four years and has only five contests under his belt.
Despite his absence, Ortiz had reached the zenith of his career during that period, with two failed championship attempts in 2018 and 2019 against then-WBC champion Deontay Wilder. In November 2020, he knocked out Alexander Flores in the first round, marking his first fight since his rematch with Wilder.
Martin (28-2-1, 25 KO), who won the IBF heavyweight championship in 2016, has won his past three fights since losing to Adam Kownacki by majority decision in September 2018. Martin, like Ortiz, has been out of the ring for the full calendar year of 2021.
Martin hasn’t fought since the COVID-19 epidemic began, with his most recent performance in February 2020 being a sixth-round TKO of Gerald Washington.
