Their last two meetings, including a 2-2 tie with Liverpool this past weekend, have all finished in a deadlock. Tottenham, on the other hand, has gone undefeated in domestic competitions since Antonio Conte came over as manager, with their most recent result being a 1-0 victory against Watford.

In recent weeks, neither team has been particularly effective in the final third. And the match on Wednesday might be a tense affair between two teams desperate to avoid surrendering too many goals and letting the tie slip away before the second leg.
It should set the stage for a thrilling but difficult match between Chelsea and Tottenham, with nothing separating them. In the end, Son Heung-min and Romelu Lukaku should score, resulting in a 1-1 tie between the London rivals, with the second leg to be played next week.
