After their wild win over Swansea City, Chelsea must focus on moving forward when they host Manchester City on Sunday.
Despite the victory over Tottenham, the story about the game was not as positive. The Blues were one slip away from losing to a nine-man Spurs team, and Nicolas Jackson had a hard time finishing his chances before his late double.
They will need to improve if they want to take on the Premier League’s most formidable team. Manchester City is a three-time defending champion and the reigning European champions. They are currently leading the league with 11 wins from 11 games.
After a poor start to the season, Chelsea has started to show signs of improvement and moved into 10th place. A victory over Manchester City would put them in a better position to secure a spot in the top four.
